our little health shop
The name of our brand consists of the first syllables of ALpacas, POMegranate and ELderflower. These are the basis for our products naturally grown and produced on our farm STILLWATER ESTATE.
bio, healthy, delicious
Especially in times like these, strengthening our immune-system is pivotal, and doing it with natural remedies is even better. This is the why we decided to launch our site now, to promote the products we have been producing on our farm for years.
Location
Our farm is located 40 km north of Cape Town in the heart of the Swartland. Besides breeding Suri and Huyacaya alpacas, we also grow pomegranate trees and elderflower shrubs.
Alpaca
We have been selling Anti-allergic and anti-rheumatic Alpaca wool since 2008. In 2018 we opened our first Online-Shop www.alpacashop.co.za. Even though we also sell dyed wool, only the undyed, natural colours can be labelled as Bio-wool. Our Bio wool comes in grey, fawn, dark fawn, brown and black, and therefore cannot be called dull at all.

Pomegranate
Pomegranate was used since ancient times and is called a divine fruit, because of its many benefits. We first pressed the juice for our own use, later for friends and then found some “lekker” receipts like Grenadine and Jelly for a healthy use.
ELDERFLOWER
The Elderflower shrubs we remember from our times in Europe, where we had some big specimen growing wild in our forest. Here on the farm we remembered again how healthy its flowers’ tee is and how nice the syrup tastes, you can mix as a refreshing, healthy drink with mineral water or as speciality even with bubbly! ( Holundersekt ! )
